Pet care experience
I have one medium breed dog, a golden doodle. I have years of pet care experience from my own pets and others. I run or walk my dog daily. I have had so much trouble trying to find fabulous places for my own dog to stay, that I thought I would open my fabulous property and big heart to more animals who owners need vacations and work options. I love walking dogs and am available for drop in care as well! Your dog will be doted on and well cared for!

We had an excellent experience leaving our golden retriever in Karen’s care when our family went out of town for the week. I received photo updates of the daily adventures they went on. Rosie was welcomed by the entire family including their dog. This was the first time we went on a road trip without our dog but leaving her in Karen’s care gave us peace of mind. I highly recommend boarding with Karen!
Karen is so conscientious and loving! Her home is such a beautiful and fun place for an animal to spend time away from their owners. Her entire family and resident dog Renny, create a hospitable and warm environment for your fur baby. Your animal is sure to be treated like a family member. Karen is detail oriented and responds quickly to inquiries. She is great at sending periodic photos that show how much fun your animal is having while you are away. Sometimes my dog gets more exercise when spending time with her than I give her at home. I feel so lucky to call her my close friend!
Luca had an excellent time with Karen and her family! He had the best care there. She took him on many walks and sent me pictures of him throughout the day! He was washed and brushed and loved on. I felt very confident about leaving him in her care. He absolutely love it there!
Karen and her family were terrific in every way. From the first communication to the handoff and friendly reception. Karen stayed in touch send us pictures and made a great experience for our little Zeke! We highly recommend she and her family for your pet sitting needs. He even shared directions to their favorite beach as we were just traveling through their area.

Our property is not fenced. We have acreage, a pond and fenced chickens. We have our back deck gated. We offer pictures, videos and a great time for your pup! We can bath if necessary and make sure your pup is clean and happy at pick up! We do not let our dog up on the furniture but he has a comfortable bed and yours will too!

A typical day
We love hiking and I'm a runner. We can adapt to your pups energy level. We definitely walk daily and love to play. Lots of petting and cuddling! We love our local beaches and trails from Arcata to North of Trinidad. We are a super active family. I will be caring for the dogs but I do live with my 3 boys and husband! Our dog is two years old and has a great disposition. He loves other dogs.

I am a stay at home mom. Completely available with a flexible schedule. I love walking dogs and playing. We also have a large breed doodle who is very friendly and loves to be around other dogs. I explore the local beaches and hiking trails daily and would love to bri g your dog.
