My daughter, Kimmerly (age 51) and I have 45 years combined experience in rescuing animals. She and I share a home together, as her daughter is 28 and moved to Massachusetts. We are both single and retired and love animals. We both have animals and have always found it difficult to find someone who we feel we can trust to take care of our fur babies like we do, while we're gone. So we encourage you to ask questions, as everyone has different expectations and we strive to achieve the highest quality of care and trust. We have 6 cats that are rescues that live in our home. They are all up to date with their shots and flea free of course!

Karen has cared for my Pit mix, Mason and my cat, Charlie on a weekly basis for the last few months. She is always on time and sends me lots of great pics of my fur babies! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring for their own!

I feed my cats soft food 3 times a day, change there water 3 times a day and their litter box is constantly clean. My cats won't use a dirty litter box! So I'll keep yours the same way I keep mine, unless you ask me to do something different. I follow instructions well. If you ask for something specific I will do my best to honor your request. Your the parent. I do have a fenced in back yard for your dog to play outside, or to go to the bathroom. If you want to board your pet with me, my pets are use to visitors, as I've had many rescues come and go. I also have the ability to separate mine from the rest of my house, if needed. Thank you for trusting me with your most precious treasures, we understand they are a part of your family, and while they are with us, they will be a part of ours! We encourage meet and greets prior to taking care of your sweet pet in order to reduce stress on your pet and on you! We'll ask you lots of questions and answer all of yours! We strive to get to know all the special details specific to your animal during the meet to greet. If you have special feeding times, nap times, walk times, medication, certain play toy that is a favorite, we want to know everything! Does your pet have any allergies, afraid of the rain or thunder? We want this to be as much like home as possible, keep routines, feeding schedules, etc.
A typical day
We have lots of toys and a fenced in backyard, and of course love going for walks and giving lots of hugs and kisses. We know every pet has different needs and parents have different expectations, so please ask questions or requests and feel free to text anytime to check-in during your let's stay!

Availability
We are both retired, and just as our animals are very important to us...your animals will be too! Your animals will be our top priority! We have a 8' cat tower and tons of cat toys and cat chews, and course treats and cat nip too! We ask before giving any treats!! For our doggy visitors, we have a fenced in back yard for play time. We love to go for walks, they are welcome to go for rides in the car (as long as that's ok with mom and dad), we have great pig ears, doggie toys, and doggie treats too! Everyone is welcome on the sofa and the beds! We love to snuggle and give kisses! So being retired allows us to be free to take care of your fur baby(s) 24/7! We are available for DROP-IN VISITS or DOG WALKS and this allows your pet/s to stay in their own environment, your home/yard. Most requests are made for 2-3 drop-in visits per day, from morning and evening to morning, afternoon and evening, but sometimes you want more care for your pet/s. So we do offer... HOUSE-SITTING - this varies from a quick 12 hour overnight stay to a 24 hour round the clock presence in your home.
