Bad part about leaving your Boxer with Karen is that he doesn’t want to come home. I swear he is in mourning since bringing him home. She supplied us with photos and it was good to see him so happy playing with her dog. We will be taking Beans back to Karen. Our thanks.
Karen was great. She was very clear about the dog sitting expectations from both sides. She offered to come to our home for a meet and greet prior to the sitting. She also provided our very active dog with lots of playing and excercising all while reinforcing good manners and dpggy obedience. JoJo our dog came back home happy and tired, which is good! I definitely recomend Karen!
This was my first time boarding my pup Bailey and Karen made it a great experience. Our dogs hit it off at the meet and greet. Also got to see how great Karen is with dogs. Her dog bucho is really well trained and Bailey was quick to respect her and her commands. She kept me updated during the boarding with fun pics and video. When Bailey came back I could tell he missed Karen ...
Oo what's that? SQUIRREL!!
I have had lots of experience taking care of strays and other dogs. I always wanted to own a rescue, but for now I take care of dogs as well as a variety of other species. As each dog has their own personality and temperament, I adjust how I approach them for each individual. Dogs that are more shy/nervous will require a one on one meet and greet for the dogs as opposed to ...
What Karen would like to know about your dog
-----READ BEFORE REQUESTING-----
Before choosing a dog to stay at my home, you need to know I have a 90lb Boxer mix. As boxers are, they are extremely hyperactive and love to play. A dog that is small, timid, shy, fearful, or not playful would not be a good fit for this home as they would be constantly pestered to be played with. The dog must also be comfortable with small rodents(specifically hamsters, rats, fish, and bearded dragons)
I require a meet and greet for all stays for I don't want to risk boarding a dog that is incompatible with mine. (repeat clients exempt)
I only allow dogs that are up to date on their shots and they okay with being left alone for a few hours because I do have another job in addition to Rover.
