Little Dogs Love Grannie!

Pet care experience

Back in 2003, I started doing volunteer work at a local shelter and fell in love with a black Lab, which I adopted. We had a wonderful life together, but at 16 years of age, she died, and I was heart-broken. I knew I couldn't live without a dog. As fate would have it, I'm now mom to an energetic Feist/Chihuahua mix. Feists are also known as "squirrel hunters". And, yes, he does like to climb trees and "hunt" squirrels. Other Services: - Cat Care & Feeding - 30 minutes, $20 (Includes petting, playtime, cleaning food & water dishes and litter box.) - Dog Park Adventure Daily Mid-day dog park visits (one hour) includes: Transportation to and from park - Off-leash exercise - Socialization with other dogs Requirements: - Dogs must be non-aggressive with other dogs - Dogs must weigh less than 25 Lbs. $32/per visit (Round trip)

Karen is a kind hearted, animal lover individual. She has been a pet owner over 30 years. Karen was very courteous and friendly as began bringing my 10 month old Yorkie to the neighborhood dog park. Karen gave me tips on how to house break my puppy and socialize him with other dogs. Karen has also babysat my puppy while I went to the gym and ran other errands before brining him back into the house. My pup was very calm around Karen and enjoyed being around her. Karen would be the perfect dog sitter to any dog.

Karen is the most patient and caring pet owner I know. She is fun, responsible and full of energy! She takes care of her pets as if they were her children. Karen is consistent with the care of her dog. I see her regularly walking her dog and her cat loves her so much that she walks along at times. It is really special to see. It is very easy to tell that her pets are happy and well adapted. I highly recommend Karen because she is trustworthy, capable & an extremely kind person.

Karen's great! A true dog lover. She takes interest in knowing the various breeds at the dog park (where I know her from) and makes it a point to get to know the owners as well. She takes great care of her dog, Smokey, and would be an asset to rover.com.
