I’m Karen, a born and raised farm girl with a lifelong love for dogs. With over 25 years of experience handling dogs of all sizes—from playful puppies to caring for senior dogs—my background has given me a deep understanding and respect for these wonderful companions. Now, as a certified dog trainer from the Animal Behavior College, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to every pet care situation. What I Offer: House Sitting: I'm flexible and happy to discuss how I can best meet your dog’s needs while you're away. Drop-In Visits: Perfect for when you can’t get away from work or need someone trustworthy to check in on your furry friend. Dog Walking: I can take up to 2 dogs at a time for a fun and safe walk in your neighborhood. Special Considerations: I am mildly allergic to cats, so while I can't stay in homes with cats for an extended period, I'm still available for dog walks and quick visits. Aside from my pet care services, I help my sister with her kids' sports activities in the late afternoons and most weekends from April through August. My Approach: Every dog is unique, and I pride myself on tailoring my care to fit each pet’s needs and their owner’s instructions. I’m familiar with a variety of collars, halters, and harnesses, and know how to fit them properly to ensure the safety and comfort of your pets. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and now they are my career. You can trust that your four-legged family members will be in good hands with me.
