Hi! My name is Kara and I have a huge heart for animals! I have had animals all my life and can honestly say it would feel weird to not have a fur baby to take care of. I currently own 4 dogs and 2 cats. However not all of them live with me. My family owns land in Lizton (about 5 miles west of Brownsburg) and that is where the cats and 3 of the dogs live. I currently reside in an apartment in Brownsburg with my loving boyfriend and our dogs (his and mine). I often like to visit my family’s land to let my dogs explore.. safely of course as it is all fenced in. At my apartment complex we have a fenced in dog area, a nature reserve with trails across the street, and are very close to the B&O trail. I love to be outside and I bet your animals do too! In years past I participated and completed 10 years of dog 4-H (which included obedience training and some agility training). I’m currently enrolled at the Vet Tech Institute to become a registered veterinary technician. So weekdays I am gone from early morning to about midafternoon but often have my evenings and weekends free! As far as my experience goes I have taken care of all kinds of different animals of all ages. I don’t have a problem with commuting to your house to take care of your animals. That might even make them feel more comfortable. I don’t have an issue with cleaning up poop, pee, or throw up. All I need is the proper supplies! With me being in veterinary studies I have experience with administering pills/capsules and liquids to dogs and cats. I also have experience with giving injections. I am familiar with dog and cat behavior as well. So I can often tell when they are in discomfort. If you have specific instructions for you pet(s) I will happily complete them! My main goal is to keep your pet(s) happy and healthy and everyone stress free! I am happy to send pictures and/or videos for updates and answer any questions you might have.
