Hey hey! I’ve lived in Austin for 13 years and have grown up with & around dogs my whole life. I’ve volunteered and fostered through APA! in the past (and found homes for 4 pups in need!). I’m a dog trainer and have 4 years of professional training experience thus far (IG: @waitforitatx). I'm painfully patient, and I *love* the training process… I could talk about dog psychology and body language all day. By default, I incorporate rules, boundaries, and manners always, even with client dogs. I have a 6 year old Presa/Bully mix, Leo. I’ve trained him since bringing him home at 9 weeks old, and it definitely shows. He’s well-mannered, mellow, pensive, and super sweet with a goofy side too. He’ll be an awesome influence on your pup if/when they come stay with us!

First time using Kara for a drop in visit & she was great! My dog is an 8 y/o 75 lb GSD with anxiety around new people/pets. Kara was very patient with him & she updated me every step of the way. She was early to the appointment & thorough in the Rover card- which I love! Would def use her services again & recommend to others
Kara was a great sitting for our lab. She is super easy to get in touch with, treated our pup like the princess she thinks she is (walks around Town Lake and laps in the Greenbelt). Will absolutely be using Kara again, thanks again for taking care of our girl!
Kara had been such a blessing in helping us take care of our dog, mya. She has done day trips to our place as well as night stays at her place. She really loves each and every dog she comes around and it is honestly a relief to know our dog is with her. Our dog, Mya, is sometimes sassy and doesn't want to eat, but kara works with her and makes sure is eating while we are gone. I would highly recommend Kara to watch anyone's fur baby.

Availability
I work from home so I’ll be around most of the day to hang with the pups, take out for consistent potty breaks, daily playtime and mental stimulation, etc. I know and understand the importance of crate time and can easily crate your dog if/when needed.
