Private Acre & Dog Loving Home!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Kara and my husband David and I are second generation pet sitting professionals. Since marrying we had been waiting to find the perfect house and property to start our own in-home pet sitting business, and we finally found it in August of 2019. Our home sits on a private acre backed to a beautiful green belt with a fully fenced yard. We care for your pets the same way we care for ours - that means full range of the house and lots of backyard playtime! We keep the TV on in the living room for the dogs that are playful and loud, and the bedroom doors open for those that are quiet and want some space. We believe that tired dogs are happy dogs, so when your pets come to stay with us we do our best to provide them with plenty of exercise. Whether its chasing a ball or getting rowdy with the other doggies, we will find what gets your dog excited to go outside and play. The most important thing for us is that your pet feels like they’re at home and are receiving the same love and care that you give them. We also love to send you pictures and updates when you are away as peace of mind knowing that your pet is enjoying their vacation as much as you're enjoying yours!
Reviews
Our dog loved staying with Kara! We got daily updates and photos and she came home happy and tired.
Kara always takes great care of our pup(s). She keeps up updated and is easy to communicate with. Leroy always has a great time with her and her family.
Great first experience! Thanks for taking care of our pups!
Kara was fantastic. I was so comfortable leaving our little man with her. Her husband was great as well. We will be back. Cooper was very relaxed when he came home.

Safety, trust & environment
The safety of the pack is our top priority. We have designed our home and yard to be as dog-friendly as possible and have a system that works. When your dog is dropped off they will be introduced to the pack one dog at a time for a low stress experience. There are gates to block off the front door and a secure fence around our yard. All playtime is supervised. We do not leave the dogs alone in the house for more than 2 hours and have a dog camera monitoring at all times. We require a meet and greet before all first stays to ensure compatibility. If there are dogs that are not playing nicely with others they will be separated from the pack until they are picked up.

A typical day
We encourage outdoor playtime as much as possible and there will almost always be other dogs for your pup to play with. If you have a lower energy or senior dog they are welcome to roam the yard or nap on the couch as they please. Our yard is large enough to tire out even the highest energy breeds so we generally do not leave the property for walks.

Taking care of your dog is my full time job 7 days a week. We start our days by immediately letting dogs out for a potty break and then come in for breakfast. Dogs are let out for potty breaks every 2-3 hours and are welcome to stay outside and play as long as they wish. On rainier days we encourage indoor playtime. Meals are prepped and served at 7am and 7pm. We end the day with a final potty break at bedtime and a special bedtime treat. Dogs are welcome to sleep anywhere in the house they wish. Drop off and pickup are by appointment only. Weekdays 8am-8pm. Weekends 8am-6pm.
