Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals since I was old enough to take care of myself. As a child, we had cats in our family. As I grew older, I became the resident animal sitter for the neighborhood. I would walk, feed, and play with them for extra money. As an adult, I regularly watch my friends dogs and cats while they are out of town, staying in their homes, as to not disturb the routines of the beloved furry friends. I love their company.

Kara is heaven sent! I had anxiety about leaving the fur babies after a bad past experience that left the animals & us a little scarred. One of my dogs doesn’t take to other people or pets… within a few minutes of the meet & greet, she loved Kara, quite a while later when Kara came to pet sit, my dog remembered Kara & still loved her. She kept me updated throughout the trip. When I came back while the 3 babies were happy to see me, there was ZERO separation anxiety, you could tell they had been well loved. I highly recommend Kara & will definitely be booking her for all future trips if she’s available! Thank you Kara!
Kara has house- and pet-sat for me many times over the years. From fully staying at my house with my cats, dog, and fish tank for over a week at a time, to a quick drop in to check on my aging cat when I'm spending a single night away, Kara has been consistently great. On top of genuinely loving my furry crew, she has always followed instructions, asked questions when needed, and kept me in the loop when I've been gone for more than a few days. On top of trusting her to be in my home when I'm away, she is a neat and tidy person, and has done small things like water my plants and grab the mail. I am worried that her getting on Rover means she won't be available next time I need her! But your fur babies deserve her too.
