I grew up around dogs and until I was married I always had one in the home. Since being married we have not been able to have one of our own. I would love to be able to love on some dogs and have my little boys (who love animals) around dogs. We would be playing and all of us walking with the dogs. We have a good size house with a small fenced in yard. We have 2 small boys. Any dogs we watch need to be friendly to small children. I prefer to have a relationship to the dog before attempting to watch them overnight. I have given meds to dogs (pills using a piece of cheese). I had a ferret that I needed to give shots to in the scruff of the neck, but I have never given a dog a shot. Please let me know if you have any questions.
