Hello! I’m a pet portrait artist and pet sitter. I'm very passionate about animals, I LOVE learning about them, caring for them, and painting them. Being in the presence of any animal brings me peace. I grew up, and currently live, near the woods, and we always had animals around, both domestic and wild. Since I was a little girl, I've lived with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys (domestic but I have rescued and raised a wild turkey), pet rats, rabbits, and many other kinds of animals. I’m proud to say I’ve raised some to adulthood, and some I’ve nursed back to health when they were ill. Animals were my greatest friends growing up, and still to this day they continue to be the best kind of companion. I'm comfortable and experienced around dogs of any breed, age, or temperament. Anxious or distant dogs are not a problem for me. A little bit of patience, calm confidence, guidance, and love goes a long way. I am knowledgeable in an animal’s body language, behavior, their moods and personalities. Which is very important for the safety and comfort for them and the caretaker. But my over all number one priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and feels love while you’re away. I love to snuggle!! I will also make sure to follow any instructions you may have for your house before you leave, inc.: gardening, watering plants, answering the door, collecting mail, taking out trash bins, etc. I know it’s hard leaving a part of the family with someone else, but your animals are not just another job for me, they are my dear friends and I hope to make many, many more in the future!
