I have held a passion for animals since I was very young--a passion that has turned into a life-style. I am currently a 1st year veterinary medical student at Mizzou and although it is one of the hardest things I've done, I'm absolutely loving it. I've worked in veterinary clinics and shelters since I was 16. When I am walking or watching your babies, I guarantee that they will get the love, safety, and respect that they deserve. I will treat them as if they were my own, knowing that you are trusting me with the piece of your heart that they hold. My fur-babies include a German Shepard/Lab mix named Emmie Mae, a mutt named Jasper, and 2 cats named Cirrus and Grizzelda. I'm so excited to meet you and your fur-babies!

Kara was great! We were visiting our son on the MU campus for family weekend and wamted to bring the family dog for a visit too. Kara made it easy by offering to pick up Scooby from us on campus right after her lab class. Kara treated him like her own, maybe better since she let him take over her dog’s bed for the night! I was happily suprised to receive photos and an update about 8:30pm. When we picked him up at her home the next day he was a very happy dog! Great experience!
Kara was fantastic for our drop-in visit! Our dogs were loved and well taken care of. Will use again!

No breed preferences here! I would like to know if your dog has any aggressive tendencies and if they are on preventative and up-to-date on their vaccinations. THIS WILL NOT DETERMINE IF I WATCH THEM OR WALK THEM. It is to simply prepare me and to protect myself and my own fur-babies at home.
A typical day
--If it is okay with you, we would go to Twin Creeks dog park at times --I'm a runner, and if your dog is a runner too, we'll both get our workout in! --I love walking, especially in the summer, so that is never out of the question, no matter how hot. I will bring a collapsible dog bowl with me and a bottle of water so that your fur-baby won't get dehydrated in this heat. --Fetch, tug-of-war, etc. You name it, I'm in. --If your pup just wants to have a lazy day, I'm more than happy to lounge with them and read a good book so that we simply enjoy each other's company
