Pet care experience
My name is Kara, I work from home. I LOVE animals, I have dogs, horses, and a cat. I have also worked close with the VCA pet clinics due to my cousin being a vet in benbrook. My aunt is also a dog groomer in Fort Worth, so I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to caring for not only my fur babies but yours as well. I have had my boxer since she was 4 weeks old and Callie is a new addition to our family after losing another companion due to cancer. They never get caged as I let them roam where they want because this is their house too. I also have a 2 year old that LOVES animals (gets that from me). I have my pups on a schedule for feeding, feed them once in the morning and second time in the evening. My dogs normally let me know when they have to use the bathroom but im open to follow any set schedule that anyone has their pet on. I’m experienced, trusting, and a huge animal lover! Your family member will be greatly taken care of!

I have used Kara before she was on Rover. She has always made me feel comfortable and confident with the care she has provided. She always kept me up to date with anything and was never hesitant to ask any questions. She will definitely spoil your baby as well with attention and love!
I left my dog with her for a week and she took excellent care of my baby. I will definitely book again! She sent pictures and updates and asked questions when she wasn’t sure of something regarding his care. I also met her other pups and they all got along great! Thank you for taking care of my Beau!

If I board at my house, they will be able to roam the house unless you wish for them to crate at night. I have a backyard with a privacy fence with no holes for any to be an escape artist. If I’m traveling to a clients home, I would of course be respectful of their place and go about any routine they would like.

No breed preference. If your dog isnt completely house trained id like to be aware. If your dog chews id like to be aware. Just be transparent if your baby has little bad habits, I can certainly adjust.
A typical day
I love to take my dogs on hikes and to the lake. I also like to go to dog parks to let my pups interact with others.

I work from home so I am very flexible when it comes to handling other priorities or responsibilities. I actually love it better than being in the field as I can give my babies much more attention.
