Pet care experience
I currently own a 1 year old dog that I have raised and trained on my own. I also own a 5 year old cat that I also raised on my own. My entire life I have grown up with family dogs. I grew up having 3 labs that I helped take care of and pet sit. I have pet sat for many family friends over the years both at my own home and at their home. I love all animals. I believe that patience, consistency, and love are the key components of raising an amazing dog or cat! Growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian but settled for a career in social work, which is what I am currently doing. I have worked with many different demographics over the years!

Kara is a pet lover. Pets come first with her. She has watched our dogs and a few other friends' dogs. She gives plenty of hugs and kisses. She loves to snuggle with them. She seems to be able to play with them non-stop. She does a good job walking with them too. Our dogs are always happy to see her.
Kara has been a great dog sitter for us for the past couple of years!! She is such a dog lover, who you can tell loves all dogs as if they were her own! She is great at communication and timely, has a big fenced in backyard for pups to play in, and she even sends us updates on how our dog is doing. We know our pup is in great hands when we have Kara watch her, and would highly recommend her to anyone!
Kara is one of the sweetest human beings I know and her bright bubbly personality rubs off on the dogs she interacts with and care for. She’s energetic, organized and has a tremendous amount of patience when it comes to dogs and making sure that they have all that they need.

I have a huge fenced-in yard with a tall fence. I have a very friendly dog and my cat hides/sleeps in the basement almost all day long so she does her own thing. I have dog gates that can close off sections of the house. I am very attentive and am never really sitting down due to my high energy/needy dog so I am used to always being on my feet and aware. My dog is 100 pounds so I am used to dealing with bigger dogs but can also handle smaller dogs.

A typical day
I know a lot of walking trails, parks, and dog parks that I could take dogs to depending on the preference and comfortability of the owners! I have played soccer/sports all my life, therefore, I am very active and able to provide exercise! I am all about sending pictures and updates if the owner wants. I am always watching the animals and am very involved. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. Lots of love and treats (depending on owner preference) will be provided.
