Pet care experience
Good day or evening! My name is Kara and I have a dachshund Jake Ryan. I’ve had my mini blind dachshund for 14 years so far! 14 years of dealing with different situations and finding out what works for him. I know how to administer medications and also have been around our family dog that had seizures. So, if your pet needs extra care then I’d love to help. Being a dog parent that has a special needs dog really helps me with patience and understanding. I treat any new dog or cat with respect and caution. I don’t try to get animals all excited unless it’s to play or go for a walk. Dogs are sensitive to us and their surroundings. Your dog or cat will feel safe around me and you as my client can trust me with your beloved pet. I love the joy that having a dog or cat in your life brings. At little about me: My husband and I just bought our first home and are trying to start a family. I currently work part time at Fred Meyer and am also an artist. Once we have a child my goal is to stay home and also continue to do Rover. I will soon be offering sitting and boarding once I get established with this company. As of now I’m looking to do “MORNING” and “AFTERNOON”walks and drop in’s! If you aren’t home or are home but just aren’t feeling well then have me drop by and make your day a little easier. Kara took very good care of Bela Lucia. She was super dependable - even when we had snow she got to the house to spend time with her. Bela is a new dog much happier and calm. Having Kara work with her made her a much more confident dog. We can’t thank her enough.
Kara watched over our dogs when we traveled to Mexico.for a week the summer of 2018. She walked and fed them, plus she spent time playing with them. She took pictures of them and text those to us. In the past she watched our dogs one was 14 at the time - he was having health issues, Kara took him to pet emergency for us. She genuinely loves animals I can tell by how at ease our pets are with her. Kara understands our dogs aren’t pets that they are members of our family. I trust her explicitly with our furry family members.

Whatever the weather condition I’ll be there for your buddy! I have an SUV and chains to be able to travel to take care of your dog or cat. If you live close to a dog park we can go there or whatever your dogs normal routine is. I understand all dogs are different and so, if yours needs special treatment just let me know. If you need me to run your dog I can do that too! I just want to make sure your dog or cat gets the care you want it to have. I know smaller dogs tend to not like the rain that much and so, if your dog doesn’t need a 30 minute walk I can always play with them or whatever to still keep your dog active outside of the rain.
