Pet care experience
I've lived in DC for 2 year and am patiently waiting until I am at a place where I can have a few dogs of my own. I've had dogs since I was little caring for them from puppies to senior dogs, so I have experience with dogs of all ages. I've lived with an extremely well behaved retired police K-9 and a hyper active boxer, and I can work with any personality. I started watching neighbors dogs as soon as I was able and still watch my friends pets to this day. I miss having a dog around all the time so I will spend a lot of time giving your dog some love! Due to my work schedule I am unavailable 9-6 on M-F.

Kara is wonderful. She watched our 2 somewhat high maintenance pugs and did a great job managing them. One pug is anxious, elderly, and needs insulin shots for her diabetes. The other pug is a puppy with a ton of energy. Kara took excellent care of them both and sent lots of pictures of them playing, walking, and snoozing on her lap. This was our first rover experience and we are so glad to have found Kara.
If I had a canine companion of my own, Kara would definitely be the first person I'd ask to help out with, without hesitation. Kara has a sincere passion and heart for dogs. I love frequently seeing "snapchats" of her interactions with dogs and her taking care of them. She is highly diligent, trustworthy, and responsible. Kara is attuned to a dog's schedule/timeline, needs, and dog parents' guidelines. I without hesitation recommend Kara to care after any and all dogs.
Kara was extremely friendly and did a great job with the boys (who are not the easiest to handle). She takes excellent pictures and gave great updates throughout the weekend. I would definitely recommend her.
