Born and raised here in San Diego! I've grown up with dogs and admire how loving and intelligent they can be. Not only do I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood, with a dog park close by, I know some of the best spots to take dogs out here in town. I have taken care of dogs for over 5 years ranging from dog walking to dog sitting. I'm very attentive and would make sure your dog receives all the they need. My lifestyle is very active so I would be able to take your dog on nice long walks, ensuring they get the right amount of exercise. With my fenced in yard, your dog would also have the ability to come in and out the house as they please without worry of getting out. There's also plenty of room to play fetch in backyard too.

Kanela and her dog Zwickel were both amazing with my Benji. It was Benji’s first time to be at daycare and he was soooo happy! Kanela is so sweet and patient. Zwickel was so sweet and gentle with Benji. I can’t say enough nice things about her, she’s just great and anyone will be very pleased having her take care of their dogs. Extremely recommend her!!
Kanela was wonderful!!!! She treated Cinder like family and gave us plenty of updates about our girl - an adorable video of Cinder and Zeickel playing, and tons of pictures of them on walks, hanging in the yard and sleeping (my favorites lol). Best of all, Cinder was POOPED and pretty much slept the entire 7 hour drive home. :) thank you Kanela and Zwickel for takong such wonderful care of our girl. :)
Another fun weekend for Red with Kanela. Red was happy to see her friends at the dog park nearby.
Kanela was awesome. We don't go out of town often, and up until a few months ago when we did, my father-in-law would watch Red. So, adjusting to a new caregiver for a 9 year old dog was a concern for us. Kanela quickly put us at ease, as it was apparentl that Red adjusted easily to Kanela and her new , albeit temporary, surroundings. She was very attentive and Red met lots of new friends under her care. We're looking forward to Kanela watching Red again next time we go out of town. When we do, we will be assured that Red is in good hands.
