Pet care experience
My 3 pups are my world. I have a 2 yr old teacup shih tzu, a 4 year old shih tzu and a 13 yr old shih tzu. I understand pets at all stages of life. I specialize in small breed but I have cared for all. I am comfortable administering meds as I’ve done it for my senior. I have no issue with special needs pups as my mini required a lot of special specific care through puppy stage and still in day to day life. I’m comfortable with doggie diapers, crates, playpens, securing halters, multiple dogs on walks, “accidents” etc You will relax and feel comfortable while you’re away knowing I will make sure your baby is safe and well taken care of :) I live in a “tiny home” in the forest - I have doggie steps to get on the couch / bed - my pups have 2 outdoors decks to hang out and play on as well as an outdoor playpen, run and tons of toys and doggie beds. Extremely dog friendly home.

Kandace has watched our animals several times, we have a big dog and three cats. We prefer Kandace when she’s available. She’s very responsible and trustworthy. Our animals seem really happy with her and well taken care of!
Kandace watched my dog Romeo (a 2,year old Shih Tzu) in her home for 2 weeks. I was very pleased with her care and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter. She even gave him a very nice hair cut ❤️ Her home in very safe environment.
Kandace is great with all animals. She loves them like her own. She is a Perfectionist. Everything she does is perfect. I think she would be great at whatever she does.
Kandace does an amazing job caring for my 2 Yorkies. She gives them extra attention and love when I can’t be there to. Even when camping in our RV she has come out to help us with the girls if we were going to be away for a long period of time.

I have no issue using your dogs known words or commands, or if they have any special needs / dietary restrictions, habits / tendencies, where they like to sleep etc - just make me a list or tell me and I will make a list. I am very good with directions and absolutely here to make your pup feel like part of the family while you’re gone.
A typical day
Porch breeze lounging, free roam of my house whenever they feel comfortable, back of couch looking out the window or on the fully screened porch nature watching. Walks through the trees and even possibly down to the creek, weather permitting.

Availability
I currently work from home with my 3 shih tzu pups, so I will have the flexibility to make sure your pup is a priority and the availability to communicate throughly when needed. Flexible for changes. I want you to feel comfortable while you’re away. I know how stressful it can be leaving your loved one. As you can see from my photos my husband and I take our pups everywhere - I feel anxious when I have to leave them with someone else and really only have a select few I feel I can trust. I want to be that for you.
