I used to work at an animal hospital for almost 2 years and I greatly miss working with animals daily! I have always loved animals and originally joined rover looking for a dog walking friend as I rent and can’t get a dog myself yet. I’ve fostered cats and kittens through Vokra as well. I use a cat nanny myself when I go on holidays or have had a family emergency and know the ease of mind of having someone come to your home vs putting your beloved furry family member in a kennel where they could be scared the whole time you’re gone! So I wanted to be able to offer someone that peace of mind too. I normally live in Vancouver but am in Prince George until after Xmas while I have trouble finding housing in Vancouver like everyone else! It’s so hard to get a decent apartment especially with a cat! I have one cat and no dogs myself currently. Her name is Pearl. She’s a silver chinchilla Persian I got from an ethical breeder in the states. My first cat was a rescue though. I walk 7km everyday and sometimes more so I’m happy to have some K9 company or stop in and look in on kitty friends! I have experience in post surgical care and older dogs. As well as aggression issues and high energy dogs. I’ve also helped with neglect cases with severe obesity. I love all breeds from little fluffy poms to big German shepherds. I do like reptiles a lot too despite how one might stereotype me! Of course, I like all the little fuzzy creatures and I love ferrets!! Feel free to reach out for a quote for small creatures.
