Hello! My name is Kanah van Niekerk and I am a second year at the University of Virginia studying Global Studies and Sustainability. I have three years of experience of pet care on Rover. I also have been around animals my whole life, having had many pets such as dogs, cats, birds and fish. I currently have a five year old Aussiedoodle named Numbi who I love going on adventures with. I am a hard worker and fulfill my tasks to the best of my ability. I hope you are interested to seek out my service :)

Kanah was super flexible and was able to watch my puppy last minute. She provided updates and photos. Would definitely use her again! My puppy was super excited and happy
She took great care of our dogs and cats! Kanah was on time and never missed a date. She was wonderful with our skittish dog and played many games of fetch. We will happily use her in the future!

I am not currently offering boarding services, but I would be able to make exceptions for small or medium hypoallergenic dogs as I have family members with allergies. I have a small Aussiedoodle that is friendly and not too overbearing if you dog prefers space. I have an unfenced yard and a nice walking routes around my house.

I am a college student so my availability is more likely to revolve around holidays and school breaks. I have large chunks of availability during the months of December, May and June.
