Pet care experience
I provide a zen home experience and flexible lifestyle. Have cared for pets both with family and independently, including fostering at various stages over the last 15 years. A special itch is scratched in my brain knowing an animal feels safe and happy to express their personality. I’d love to provide an enriching experience for yours. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I have experience with anxious dogs and administering medicines depending on your needs :) Ample exploration of new trails and hikes will be a huge part of our experience together. Visiting different dog parks will be great fun and maybe we might share a (dog friendly) blueberry smoothie at the top of the mountain, after we play in the river… just sayin ;) Photos will be provided from the moment your drop off your pet, as soon as they start adjusting and show signs of comfort, play and curiosity to my environment. Your pet is safe in my hands. I am open to any and all questions and concerns and glad to provide reassurance. Let’s have some fun!! 🎉🌞😁 I love all animals and I welcome caring for rabbits and/or birds

Kamya was a perfect dog sitter! I brought my excitable dog Rory to stay overnight, and everything went so smoothly. Her dog was calm and friendly with people and pets alike. Also Kamya took Rory on an extra long walk and made sure she got plenty of playtime. I can't thank her enough. I will return whenever I might need a dogsitter again in the area.

We have an unfenced yard and an older potty &leash trained gentle dog living in our home. We walk three times a day, with bathroom breaks in the morning and right before bed. Flexible arrangements can be made. More than happy to accommodate your requests

Please let me know if your dog is potty trained and okay with being off the leash. These are not dealbreakers at all. These are just for me to assess we’re we are at with discipline and responsiveness. It gives me a little more peace of mind and helps me provide for the situation accordingly
A typical day
Depending on how long your stay is, we will visit various dog parks and have long walks by the rivers. I enjoy having dogs get all their energy out, so when their at home we are relaxed :) we might play fetch on a long sloping hill, or cuddle all morning, guilt free

Availability
I currently work from home, so hours are flexible with lots of break time for play, enrichment, cuddles, outdoor time or home visits. Wake up around 6:30, wind down around 9. We enjoy frequenting local hiking trails & playing with squeaky toys
