Pet care experience
Animals are the embodiment of all things positive in my world, and I aim to make this admiration known in my interactions with them. I have owned and cared for not only pets of my own, but animals at local shelters in the past. Because of experience I have an understanding of the complexities of animals emotions and understand how to react to what they need in a calm and understanding manner. Currently I have two cats named Vriska and Vernon that I care for deeply.

Kami is not only an amazing pet parent to their own animals, but has such immense empathy and provides the best care for the pets of others. I’m so hesitant to leave my animals with anyone, but Kami is one of the few I trust to give the best care to my pets when I’m gone. Couldn’t recommend them more!
Kami is a sweet, loving person who gives their whole heart to every animal they meet. Be it their cats, my family dog, our friends birds and bunnies, they treat every animal they meet with nothing but love and affection.

Before taking on any sitter or walking job I want a clear understanding of what your pet is used to. In order to cause the least amount of stress to your pet, I want to ensure their routine is being maintained to the best of my capabilities. Once I have a clear understanding of what your pet needs from me, then I will be able to assess a clear care regime specific to them.

If staying with me I would like to know about any past experience with cats, if any (so I am able to know ahead of time if I should put my pets in a separate room).
A typical day
I am a five minute walk from the UNI campus so I would be able to walk pets around on the maze of sidewalks there. Along with this my apartment complex has a dog park, and if the weather is forgiving I would be willing to drive pets and walk them around the Hartman reserve.
