Growing up in a rural farming county, I've loved caring for animals– dogs, cats, horses, sheep & birds– since I was a kid. My childhood dream was the become a vet (until I became too squeamish), which then transformed into a dream of working with animals. In high school, I received formal training from my local Humane Society to be a volunteer Dog Walker which I did for 3 years. I could often be found pet-sitting for family friends on weekends and holidays. I have experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes as well as with pregnant dogs and dogs in surgery recovery. As a current dog mom to Gigi, I strive to provide my furry friend with the best care and enrichment so she can lead a happy and healthy life. I achieve this with a combination of obedience training, physical exercise, and mental stimulation. Gigi received CCL surgery in February '23 so I am also experienced in administering medication, working with dogs in cones, and basic wound care/cleaning. When it comes to your pup's success and wellbeing, I am here to follow and abide by any routines or regimens you have in place!
