I began my start in the pet care industry by volunteering at the shelter. Afterwards I began training dogs to reduce the number that end up in the shelter due to reactivity. Now 6 years later I have opened up Merced’s first Barkery (pet cafe) where I offer doggy daycare, boarding in home pet sitting, check ins, a cafe with a doggy play place and so much more! Not only am I happy to take your pet into my home with open arms, I am lucky enough to have access to an inside play place where they can run free and socialize with other dogs without getting dirty and at the end of the day they can come cuddle up with me when they are all tuckered out from playing. Of course I can also accommodate the couch potatoes who like to sleep all day. Either way you can rest assured that I am ready and willing to give your dog the love and affection that they need with absolutely no time left unattended! How can I promise that? Since I own my own pet care business, I have access to a staff who’s jobs are literally to provide the best experience possible for pets. So even if something comes up last minute, I work with various independent pet sitters in a facility that provides in home check ins, boarding, and even provide transportation to pet cafe, dog parks, vet appointments and much more! You can rest assured that your pet will be safe and well cared for by seasoned professionals! Nonetheless, I will take your pet everywhere with me and make sure that they are given the attention and love that they deserve!

Not good, service was boarding for 2 nights that turned into 3 . We left my dogs crate for her to sleep in only, however I feel like she was left in there to long because it was full of dog food and smelled of urine. The crate was also bent / pushed from the outside.
Buttercup had a wonderful time. She was safe and had some playful dogs to play with. Kamani & Nicole were wonderful and love pets! Thank you for taking care of Buttercup.

Your pets stay is completely customizable! I usually let them in the furniture and sleep cage free! However, I understand that many people have a standard in their home that they prefer their sitter upholds and I respect that and adapt their stay accordingly. Nonetheless your pet will be spoiled in my house and treated like the babies they are. The Paw Barkery also works with professional sitters to provide the most optimal experience for your fur baby! We provide indoor and outdoor daycare, walks, feedings and lots and lots of fun activities!

Availability
I usually go on my morning walks and then head off to order my coffee and the baristas know by now that my order always comes with a pup cup! Since I own my own business my schedule is very flexible. I do check in and run errands throughout the day but this allows me to bond with your pet and gives them a chance to get out and about! The Paw Barkery also offers many customizable options for pet sitting and have no shortage of sitters who will be compatible for your pets needs. We offer a wide variety of options for the homebody’s, playful pups or even reactive fur babies. We can help give them the best experience possible!
