Caring for pets, whether they’re my own or someone else’s takes attention, routine, and understanding of each animal’s unique personality. Pets like people like consistency. I ensure I understand their regular feeding times, exercise habits. Understanding each animals play habits helps keep them entertained and happy. Documenting medical concerns and medication needed to ensure properly given, and monitor for any signs of illness. Pets, especially those away from their owners, can experience anxiety, some more than others! I engage with them to provide companionship such as playtime & cuddles! I keep an eye on body language and behavior to ensure they are comfortable. I keep open communication, providing updates and reporting any concerns. Trust is vital, and being responsive to a client’s pet care preferences or concerns is important. Ensure I have vet and contact information in the event of an emergency.
