I've taken care of animals for over 10 years and I love caring for them. I've had my own dog for 11 years, when I took him in as a stray — we’ve been best friends ever since! I've interned at an animal refuge and volunteered for another, I worked for a concierge vet as an assistant, and I've also worked at multiple animal welfare nonprofits, and have been pet sitting for years — you can trust I’ll look out for your animals’ best interests! I love to walk and play with dogs, take them to the beach, and love playing with cats (and/or walk them if they’re into harnesses!). I’ll take good care of all their needs while you're gone, so you can rest easy knowing your furry family members are well taken care of. I know how important peace of mind is when you leave your pet with someone else - I use Rover myself when I go on trips, so I know from experience what clients expect and what animals need from their caregiver. I have experience with administering medication with my own senior dog, including giving him regular shots. I have experience with dogs who are less socialized and don't like other dogs, animals, children, skateboards, or certain people. You won't need to worry about your pet's safety or comfort with me, just tell me what they need :) I work remotely and I can be super flexible with timing.
