Pet care experience
Hey there, let me tell you a little about myself! I grew up on a farm and have spent my whole life with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. I helped care for them every day (food, water, bedding changes, grooming) until last September when I moved up to college (WWU!) in Bellingham. I have always helped out with my family’s animals, but I started having serious responsibilities around the barn when I was about 10 or 11. I have also assisted in birthing multiple litters of kittens, and even one miniature horse! My family currently has 5 horses, 3 dogs, 5 cats and a bunny who I help care for when I am home, and I also have my own kitty and a betta fish, all whom I love and adore:) We have neighbors who own horses as well, and they would rely on me to take care of them when they were out of town.

A typical day
I would love to take your dog on an energetic walk, or just make sure they get plenty of playtime, depending on what their needs are:) Smells are very stimulating for dogs, so I always let them get in some good sniffs while we’re outside. If i’m watching a cat, playtime with a feather stick or other toy is essential for kitties who need activity! No matter what we do together your darlings will get all of my love and attention:)

Although I’m currently in my second year of classes, I do have a pretty free schedule so I have plenty of time for your fur babies, and would love to spend any and all of my free time with them!:)
