Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my whole life and started walking dogs around the age of 13. I adore animals and love caring for them. I know that when I’m busy and needing time out of town, I want the absolute best care for my pet. I can assure you I will treat your pet like I would my own! Your pet will be safe, cared for, and most importantly: loved in my home. I can accommodate any pet, from energetic and wanting to go to the dog park, to mellow and going on casual walks- all accepted. I enjoy bringing my dog to the dog park or on trail walks. I have a female, 5 year old German Shepard myself who is extremely friendly and works well with other animals. With it being summertime, I understand some people may be traveling and needing help with caring for their pets and that’s what I’m here for.

Kalie was so thoughtful, from keeping track of all of Ted's necessities, to helping us out when he ran out of food, to checking in about how he'd get along in her apartment and with other dogs, her own and others. She was totally flexible and put my mind at ease. Thank you Kalie, highly recommend!
Kalie took great care of our dog! She was easy to communicate with and flexible about scheduling drop off and pick up. I would highly recommend leaving your pup with her and certainly will again!
We traveled out of state over Labor Day; this was the first time our 18-month old cat, Valentino was left with a sitter. Kallie was absolutely superb -- friendly, communicative, accessible, and responsible -- I couldn't have asked for anyone better. It was absolutely, a five-star experience. I have a friendly, social female German Shepherd to keep your pup company. I also frequent the local dog parks daily, so exercise and socialization will not be a problem! As far as in the home, I am huge on reward for positive behaviors. I love giving affection to pets because they deserve the very best.

Let me know if there is anything you think is important to know about your dog ahead of time. This information could be super simple or more on the complex side. For my dog, I let people know that she isn’t much of a cuddler and that she loves chasing other dogs at the dog park. This gives an idea of what to expect from your pet.
A typical day
A typical day would include going on a walk in the morning, potty breaks throughout the day, and a dog park visit to wrap up the evening. I have a dog park at my apartment complex! If you prefer a certain length of walk for your dog, do not hesitate to let me know. If you prefer your dog to not go to the parks, that is totally okay. I will meet your dogs needs!

Availability
I’m currently working hybrid for Washington County. Most days I am working from home. As for the days I work in the office, I am only there for about a half day (4-5 hours). Your pet will never go longer than 4-5 consecutive hours inside my home without bathroom breaks (aside from night time).
