Hello my name is Kali. I offer overnight boarding and also partial or full days while you work. I currently live in Waynesville, NC but will be moving to East Canton/Candler area in summer 2021. I have 15+ years working with shy and traumatized rescue dogs. At 36 years old I don't remember a time I didn't have dogs in my life. I have been pet sitting for friends, family, and referrals since I was 14 years old. I own my home and I have an adminstrative job that has allowed me to work from home for past 4 years. It is wonderful getting to chill on couch with my dogs during day instead of leaving them alone while I work. I have 2 of my own dogs. Luke is 18+ years young who I have had since he was a puppy rescued from the pound. My spring chicken is my last rescue a 7 year old low rider Bassett Mix adopted 4 years ago. I do keep multiple dogs at a time as long as I know each dogs personality and compatability. Safety and your dogs enjoying their stay with me is top priority. If I do keep a dog and I don't feel I am the best fit I will tell you. Each fur visitor has their own room for toy time, alone time, and feeding. I have a beautiful lush 1.5 acres to leash walk the dogs. Local walking park is about 2 miles away where I take the dogs for long walks. I have a particular fondness for senior dogs. They deserve lots of pampering and attention which I enjoy giving. I understand how difficult it is to leave such a precious and valuable member of your family with a stranger. I ask that you and your fur pup to come visit me and see my home. I don't mind being interviewed so you can be sure you are making the best choice for your loved pet. I am pretty accommodating for most dogs needs. My main request from you is to be open with me about your pets needs. If I know their quirks and habits I can take better care of them and create a longer lasting pet sitter relationship for them. I am able to administer injections and also subQ fluids if needed.
