Pet care experience
I have cared for and owned cats, dogs, horses and miscellaneous farm animals my entire life. I was active in FFA and 4-H growing up showing horses, dogs, sheep and helping friends show cattle. I graduated with my AAS in Veterinary Technology in the spring of 2018 from Ridgewater College in Willmar,MN. With my personal experiences and schooling I have no issue given medications orally, topically, or injectable. I am also comfortable caring for pets of all ages and pets with special needs. Please let me know if there is something special you are wanting or needing from a pet sitter and I will be 100% honest with you if I am not comfortable with doing something, as I would never want to put your pet in harms way if their need is not something I am experienced with.

Kali watched our 9 week old puppy for us while we were at our wedding and she did so well! She went above and beyond for everything. She even brought our puppy to us on our wedding day for pictures, which was so fantastic. She sent pictures all the time with updates and I felt so secure with my puppy being with her. We will definitely use her again in the future!
She did a great job with my dog Dakota! Sent lots of pictures letting me know that she was doing well and kept my updated. She had three friendly dogs and a cat that Dakota seemed to get along great with. I was very impressed and would recommend Kali to anyone looking for someone to watch over their dog.

I do not currently have a fenced in yard, but will keep all pets on a retractable leash or tie out to keep them safe while they are in my care. I have 3 large dogs and a special needs cat of my own, so your dog will get lots of playtime. I have the ability to give your dog their own space and crate for break times or if they get a little overwhelmed and need some space.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has special needs, medication, behaviors, or little quirks that may affect how I care for your pet while you are away. I do not have an issue helping out/dealing with some minor behaviors as long as I know ahead of time.
A typical day
I am a huge fan of enrichment activities for dogs. I have all different kinds enrichment toys and puzzles for the dogs to enjoy. I also have a small business making homemade dog treats and pet products such as paw&nose balm, snuffle balls, and snuffle mats.

I work from home 3 days a week, and also around most nights and weekends as I have pets of my own to care for.
