Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting since I was 18 years old. I am now 25 years old. I travel to the persons home so the animal is in their comfort zone. While I am dog sitting, I also "live" in your home. However, I currently am working full time 7:30-4:30 Monday through Thursday and 7:30-4:00 on Friday. I think of it as a 2 for 1. My love for animals has grown over the years I have dog sat. As of now, I have 6 families I dog sit for on a regular bases. I treat your animal just like I treat mine. I have a huge heart for animals and making their time here on Earth memorable. I have never had a complaint from any of the families I dog sit for. I have actually been recommended to other families. The longest I have dog/house sat for a family was 2 weeks. I can't wait to spoil your animals! Why I love dog sitting when I was 12, I got my first dog. She is the Beagle in the profile picture. Ever since then she has been my best friend. Someone to hug and cuddle with when feeling down in the dump. I currently have 5 families I constantly dog sit for, especially in the summer time. I also currently have 2 dogs of my own. A min pin mix (3yrs) and a pit-bull mix (2yrs).

We met Kaleigh for an intro with our dog Marlin, and we instantly loved her! You can tell that she is passionate about dogs, having rescued dogs herself, and she was eager to give Marlin all the love and attention he could stand. There are many pet sitters who will stop by for a 10 minute walk, or show up at dinner time, then head out to party until 3 am, and come back and sleep without giving much attention to the pets. We have experienced this first hand, and that is NOT what we want for our baby. We travel frequently, and often leave Marlin with Kaleigh. He is an 11 year old lab mix who has seizures about once a month, and is on 2 seizure medications that Kaleigh administers. She has not yet had to experience a seizure with Marlin, but we are absolutely confident that she will be able to handle it should the need arise. In addition to being a senior dog with seizures, Marlin is a recent (for 9 months now) tripod. When Kaleigh keeps Marlin she checks n to let us know he is safely in her care, and sends us regular pictures & updates (which we love). Since Kaleigh keeps Marlin in our home, it was imperative to find someone who respects our home, and doesn't trash it while we are gone. When we come home, our house is always tidy, and we can tell Marlin has been well taken care of! We are so grateful to have Kaleigh, and we know Marlin is too!
We were so lucky to find Kaleigh as our first Rover sitter. Our rescue dog can be a little shy and skittish and we have not been very happy with our kenneling experiences. Kaleigh is amazing and we are so pleased with her as our sitter as well as our rover experience. Kaleigh stayed at our house for several days with our dog and cat. When we had our first meeting I could tell Kaleigh was a animal lover, responsible and would take excellent care of our pets. She was easy to get in touch with and kept us informed about how the stay was going. Even when the unexpected happened, she was on top of the situation. We had a power outage at our home due to a thunderstorm and Kaleigh was able to quickly reach out to us to locate the flashlights and inform us that everything was ok. Kaleigh also helped us out by bringing in our mail and putting our trashcans out! Great sitter, great experience!
This was the first time I have ever left Manhattan with anyone that was not a relative or close friend!! I met with Kaleigh and felt comfortable with her immediately. Manhattan loved her and I am sure Kaleigh spoiled her!!! My house was just the way I left it when I got home. She did her sheets and towels and kept in contact with me while I was away. I would recommend Kaleigh to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog lover to take care of your pet! I will definitely use her again!
Kaleigh has loved and cared for my sweet babies, as her own for 2 years now. She is the only person I trust to give them the love and care that they deserve. I'm a firm believer that keeping your pets in their own home environment when you are away is much healthier and happier for them versus taking them to a kennel. She has stayed at my home for a week at a time or has come by for just a walk and some loving for the pups. She has won my utmost confidence that she will responsibly care for my pets and my home during my absence. Daily texts and periodic pictures of my pups keep my mind at ease while I'm wherever I am, at the time that she is watching them. Harley and Tebow adore her too!

Time I'll spend with you dog: I currently am working full time Monday-Friday so my time being at home during the day is limited. But I will always be there after work and spend the night as well. Extra house-sitting services Yes. I even wash the sheets I sleep on and the towels I use so that when the home owners return they don't have to worry about that.
