I have always loved dogs since I was little. My favorite thing to read were dog books and training books. My first dog that I had was an Akita when I was 9, I then had a basset hound, a rottweiler and most recently have had an Alaskan Malamute and a Catahoula Leopard Dog great Dane mix. All of my dogs that I have owned, except the Rottweiler were rescues. I have grown up with large breed dogs and am very comfortable around them. I have been dog sitting for about 10 years. I started dog sitting for family and then started dog sitting for friends of family and friends of friends.
