Pet care experience
I have experience with numerous breeds of dogs, as well as cats and other pet species. I worked at a boarding and grooming facility and pet store for multiple years, and I’ve independently done boarding, drop-ins, walking, and basic grooming and training. I have experience with pets of all ages, including young puppies and senior animals. I am very patient, understanding, and willing to work with “difficult” pets. I am experienced in medicating animals and practicing cooperative care. I have a lot of dog training experience and actively compete in dog sports/shows. I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences, another in Wildlife Ecology, and a master’s in Biology, and I’m always expanding my knowledge! I can provide good references from past clients if needed.

Kale was extremely thorough, quick to respond, and made sure my cats had a good time while I was out of town. I have one active cat and one lap cat and Kale made sure to give them both equal attention. The picture updates were the icing on the cake. Overall, I would highly recommend booking Kale!

Kale watched my cats for me while I was out of town for a week and I couldn't have asked for anyone better! They made me feel so much more comfortable being hundreds of miles away from my girls by sending me updates multiple times a day along with pictures and videos. One of my cats is very shy but Kale was able to immediately make her comfortable enough that she was out and letting them love on her! They went above and beyond by not only following the instructions I gave but also cleaning messes up that my cats had left (which I didn't expect)! I could tell that Kale truly cared for my cats like family which I genuinely appreciated. On top of everything, I needed an extra day out of town and they had no problem whatsoever with watching my girls another day. Kale is a true animal lover whether it's their own or others. I highly, highly recommend them if you need someone who is trustworthy, dedicated, reliable, and extremely caring!
Kale Rogue is the most knowledgeable pet sitter you can have take care of furry, scaled or any 8 legged children. Not only do they have a Masters degree in Biological Sciences, they have spent a life time building skills and experience with animal care. There is no one else I would regard higher with taking care of my fish (which they have in the past) and I would regard them the same if I had a cat, dog or any other animal. You can not get a better pet sitter than Kale.

I carry protection (Halt spray) with me at all times in case of off-leash dogs (or other scary things!), and I always carry an emergency bag with an extra leash, treats, poop bags, etc. I am meticulous about shutting gates, locking doors, and being aware of my surroundings.

Availability
I’m currently doing freelance work and side jobs indefinitely, so my schedule is being built around pet-sitting visits. I take care of my own animals (who are healthy, vaccinated, and will stay home while I work), then I will do my rounds of drop-ins and walks throughout the day. I currently only offer care for cats and dogs outside of my own home.
