I was sadly disappointed upon return from my trip. Kaiya was nice when I met her. She had a good rating and reviews so I assumed I could trust her. She did keep my animals alive but that was about it. I had left a box of wet food and asked her to give them a bit everyday and she didn't. She did the very least. She removed the poops only from the kitty litters and nothing else. When I returned to my home my whole house smelled like cat pee. It is the middle of Summer and it is very hot where I live. It took days to get rid of the saturation of the smell throughout my house. She did have a couple days of not checking in but when I returned home there was 2-3 inches of caked kitty litter sodden with cat pee in the bottom of both kitty litters; which is a lot more than 2 days of not checking in, I have pictures but can not post them here or I would've. My cats had taken to peeing in the empty kitty litter bin beside the 2 full ones as there was no where to go in the 2 full ones. There was a pool of cat pee in the empty plastic bin, and there was plenty of fresh kitty litter left. Anyone with common sense would've known this is not ok. The smell alone should've tipped any sane person off that they should've been fully changed. I feel for my 2 poor kitties as I have no idea how long they suffered with these conditions for. I am chalking it up to maybe she has never had animals, maybe that she is young, and hopefully not that she is just a negligent person when it comes to the basic primal needs of any living being. Please if you do hire her make sure to ask for pictures of your pets' bathroom area, food area and pictures of the pet. My husband ended up in the hospital in another Province for most of our trip back East for me to think to enquire too diligently each day but again I just put my trust in her. Also I was gone for about 9 days and maybe this is too long for her. Maybe shorter periods are better for her. Needless to say I will not be putting my babies in her care again.

Kaiya is Fantastic! She is extremely accommodating and respectful. She took such good care of Evie! She will definitely be my first choice when I need help with Evie!
