Hello! I'm Kaity and I have over 12 years of professional dog training experience. I used to work inside the Federal Prisons in Minnesota teaching inmates how to raise and train service dogs for a local non-profit. In other words, I am FBI background approved as I was able to go into prisons unescorted to work with the inmates. I recently left that career to pursue a career in the dog food and nutrition industry as well as work on my own dog training business. Dogs are my true passion in life. I majored in Animal Science in college and went through a dog training school in North Carolina so I know all about how to handle your pets and make sure they are comfortable in my care. I own 2 border collies and a golden retriever who keep me on my toes and love all of their furry friends! When it comes to caring for your pets I am happy to tell you that I will give them the best care there is! I have years of experience and education working with all types of animals, mostly dogs and cats, but also some exotics and farm animals as well. I know how to remain calm and cool during an emergency situation and how to go about caring for animals that are post-op or elderly. I have dealt with a lot of medical questions and emergencies thanks to my job experience so I am extremely experienced in handling that kind of situation and knowing when something is not right and needs attention. I know how hard it is to leave your pets with someone you don't know and to trust that person to treat them just as you would. It is my goal to help your pets enjoy their time with me while also making you feel relaxed and not having to stress about them. No matter how many pets you have I am excited to hang out with them and make sure they have a fun time and are well cared for just like my own. I love making all animals as happy and comfortable as they can be, while also reinforcing good behavior because the trainer in me loves to reward pets for doing good things. I actually enjoy giving baths, brushing, trimming nails, trimming foot hair, brushing teeth, cleaning ears and more so I am happy to offer those services at a small charge if you are interested. I work from home some day and other days I work very close to home with a pretty flexible schedule most days so I am able to swing by mid-day for medication, potty breaks, feeding time, etc as needed.
