Recent ASU grad and animal lover!

Pet care experience

Hoping to ease families schedules by caring for your furry family members! Your pet's health, care and playtime are my main priority :) I have years of experience with my own pets, dog walking and pet sitting for others, as well as volunteer experience at animal shelters. My experience ranges from Chihuahua's to Shepherds, Pitbulls, Rottweilers and Alaskan Malamutes. So I assure you I have experience with all size, breeds and temperaments of dogs. I have also had a wide range of dogs in my life, including young, wild puppies to older, special needs pets. With this experience, I can offer comfort to your pet during their stressful separation and relocate their energy into new activities and adventures. My services are fully customizable to meet your needs - whether that be stop in visits to feed, walk or entertain your pet OR overnight care. Either way i'll be sure to spend quality time with any animal entrusted in my care, treating them the same I would my own pets. I understand the importance of coming home to a healthy, happy dog and I will be happy to continue keeping in touch via text, call or email during your time away. As a photographer, I also like to include photo or video updates while you're away. I look forward to answering any other questions you may have and hope to hear from you soon! Why I love dog sitting I know most people say they are dog lovers, but at 4 years old, I crawled around on my hands and knees pretending to be a dog until my parents gave in and adopted our first pet. Since then, we've had many animals in our home and I consistently volunteered at local Animal Shelters and Rescues throughout High School. In college, I fostered several dogs, training and correcting behavior while trying to find them permeant loving homes. After graduating in December, I started dog sitting and dog walking for a few friends and neighbors during the holidays. What started as a temporary job to make some extra money for gifts, turned into a real love for providing care for animals. My experience administering medication It depends on the medication and if the animal is receptive to newcomers administering it. I would have to be initially walked through process and safety protocols with pet owner before administering medication myself, unless it was a pill or tablet.

Kaitlynn did a great job watching my 10 year old Siberian Husky last week in our home. I could tell my dog was well cared for (as was my home) and Sitka was sorry to see her go. Kaitlynn's sweet and honest demeanor were very obvious upon meeting her. My dog loved her immediately! We've already booked trip number 2 with her for this summer.

Kaitlynn was wonderful with our two dogs and kept me updated with pictures and messages while we were away :) We are so happy we found her especially because our two little guys can be quite rambunctious! Thanks so much Kaitlynn!

This was my first time using Rover.com and absolutely love it! Kaitlynn was the best decision I have made for my pups as a sitter:) I was a little hesitant to have someone come into my home while I'm not there, but then we had our meet and greet and I was instantly relieved. Bear the pitbull loves everyone, but Axle is always a little hesitant with meeting new people. The moment Kaitlynn walked through the door, they both wouldn't leave her alone! That made me feel so much better! She was very punctual with her messages, and even helped me along with the whole Rover process. She did an amazing job with keeping me updated and ensured that the pups had fun. Never again will I send my pups anywhere else; Kaitlynn is now the only dogsitter for them from now on!

Kaitlynn did a great job looking after our pup. Madra took to her straight away, and seemed to not mind at all that we were gone!

Information Kaitlynn B. would like to know about your pet

My family personally has three small dogs but I love getting to play and exercise with larger breed dogs. I currently watch 3 Alaskan Malamutes and I would have to say they are my favorite breed. Because of their intelligence and independence they take a lot of work but their loving affection makes it well worth the effort. I also enjoy being outdoors and hiking, so they make a perfect travel companion for longer excursions.

A typical day

Time I'll spend with your dog I usually plan on spending about 1.5-2 hours each visit according to a feeding schedule and walk times. Breakfast/AM = 6am - 9am, Lunch/Mid Day = 11am - 2pm, Dinner/PM = 5pm - 8pm (unless others specified OR overnight stays) Extra house-sitting services I am more than willing to help with additional duties around the home, whether that be cleaning, plant care or bringing in mail and packages.
