Pet care experience
I have grown up with animals in my house since birth. Even at a young age, I was responsible for caring for my dogs and cats. In addition, my mother is a veterinarian and has given me tools to understand dog and cat behavior as well as emergency procedures. My family has also fostered dogs for 5 years. We get dogs from many different backgrounds, which leaves me well equipped for handling socialization and approaching nervous dogs.
Reviews
Kaitlyn was a great communicating during a drop in visit with my dog!
Kaitlyn is a trustworthy pet lover. She has grown up with many different dogs and cats and has years of experience with fostering rescue dogs from Australian Shepherds Furever. She knows about behavior, health and basic first aid. Your fuzzy companion will love spending time with Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn is our absolute favorite dog sitter/walker! We are so sad to see her go back to college. Our dog, Opal, typically has a hard time warming up to people, but Kaitlyn bonded with her immediately! We never had any problems; Kaitlyn is a responsible young lady and we always knew Opal was in good hands with her.

I can feed your pets, give medication, play, and crate for drop in visits. Available to walk (or the occasional jog, if you have a runner!)
Information Kaitlyn W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if you have an anxious, nervous, or territorial dog as well as any special needs such as medication, socialization, or disabilities. It’s also nice to know a dog’s energy level as well as what you expect from a walk (tuckered out or just some mental stimulation?)
A typical day
I love to match a dog (or cat’s energy)! If they love to jog, let’s jog! If they’re feeling a slow walk full of sniffs, let’s do it! If your cat is lovey dovey, let’s cuddle!

Availability
I go to Colorado College, which functions on the block plan. We go to class daily from 9am-12pm, leaving my mornings, afternoons, and evenings completely free (aside from a fair share of homework!) The block plan is extremely conducive to working students!
