Pet care experience
I've helped family, friends, and neighbors to take care of pets while they are busy or out of town since I was 13. I have taken care of shy and active pets. I have experience with cats and dogs large and small. I have walked lots of dogs, and have experience dispensing medicine to both cats and dogs.

Kaitlyn was amazing! She watched our dog Bo and gave him lots of love and attention. She was very helpful and flexible as we had a few curve balls while out of town. Kaitlyn was a great communicator and kept our house just as we left it. We would definitely recommend her!
Kaitlyn took amazing care of my cats and my home while I was away, she sent regular updates with the cutest pictures and everything was spotless when I returned. I felt like I was actually able to enjoy myself because I knew my home and pets were in good hands—could not recommend her more highly!

When caring for your pet, my goal is to provide ample attention, playtime, and love as your pet needs whether that is going for walks, playing with toys, or simply lots of petting and attention. I will make sure they stay safe, and will pay close attention to the care instructions I have been given to ensure your pets are comfortable while you are away.

Please let me know if your pets are weary of unfamiliar people or smells, and if they have ever showed any aggression towards new people. It is good to know what needs your pets have with regards to walks, attention, or even how long it may take for them to get used to a new person. Additionally, any anxiety issues or common commands that you use with your pet are very helpful.
A typical day
I love to emphasize playtime when watching pets, and try to find a favorite toy or game that they love to keep them active. I also really enjoy exploring any and all parks around town, and love going for lots of walks with the dogs I watch to get them into the fresh air and keep them moving throughout the day. And lots of time for one on one attention with petting and am always happy to allow them cuddling up to me! The first thing I always do is allow each dog I watch is to spend time getting allowing them to get comfortable with me, and making that my number one priority.

I am a music teacher in DCPS available on weekends and most holiday breaks to house sit your pet! Additionally able to provide drop in visits and walks on weekends.
