Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I am new to this app but I’ve taken care of cats at home my whole life, volunteered at pet shelters for over 7 years, and watched over neighbors pets while they went on vacation. I also work with cats and dogs on the wilder side at my family farm in the summer. Animals bring me so much joy and I have a naturally calm demeanor that allows me to connect with them. I am well-educated on the level of attention, love, and patience required to make animals feel comfortable and I would be so grateful for the opportunity to meet yours. Theo has also raised cats and dogs at home his whole life and will be helping out!

From the first time that I reached out to Kaitlyn, she was extremely nice calm and caring. We needed to find a sitter in the short term for our pup. She was Able to FaceTime us so that we could meet and see the area. She then allowed us to come up just to see the place obviously before we left her there. It was extremely cozy and comfy and safe. She was able to accommodate an early check in and also picking up our pup late at night, since it was more convenient on the way home. She sent us continuous pictures throughout the day And she also gave us updates regularly. Our pup can be a little bit anxious, but she assured us that she was in good hands. She brought her for multiple walks a day to keep her active and sent pictures of our pup playing, cuddling and walking. I couldn’t recommend Kaitlyn enough. Thank you so much for caring for Chloe regardless of all her quirks.

Please let me know if you have any special requests for taking care of your pet! I am happy to accommodate anything except for injectable medications. As mentioned in my bio, I have extensive experience with pets who are nervous, a little hyper, or untrained.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog on walks and introduce them to students at Brown. There are lots of other dogs on campus and at India Point Park that we can socialize with! I really enjoy playing with animals and would make sure they get their exercise in before bedtime! I also have a large floor pillow that animals like to sleep in.

Availability
I am currently an undergraduate student who only has a couple hours of classes per day, so I am almost always available to care for your pet. I will never be away from them for more than 2 hours at a time! Theo will also be around to care for them during these periods.
