Meet your pet’s new BFF!
Pet care experience
Go follow @kaitlyns_pet_parade on Instagram and you might see your own furry friend featured! I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, chickens—I get along with creatures of all shapes and sizes! I’ve raised, adopted, and trained enough pets that I feel confident I can adapt to the needs of any animal. I know how to hold my own with big animals that push boundaries but I'm gentle and patient with anxious pets. Caring for animals has been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember. I work from home as a travel agent and a graduate student during the day, so I have plenty of time to spend with your precious pet during the daytime when you’re busy with work. I occasionally work nights in theater as a stage manager, but the majority of my work is remote. In all of my jobs I am my own boss and in charge of my own schedule, so I can be extremely flexible to your pet's routine. I also own and drive a car which means I can be available for last-minute drop ins! When caring for pets in your home, I’ll ask about all of the rules that your pet follows at home, and how your pet likes to play at home. My goal will be to accomplish your goals—you have a high energy puppy that doesn’t sleep at night? I’ll wear them out with endless rounds of fetch. Do you have an older cat who just wants to be bothered as little as possible? They won’t even notice I’m there, but you’ll feel good knowing I am.

Great as always! Thanks for taking care of my grumpy little one.
Kaitlyn is consistently incredible with our two kitties!! She always goes above and beyond with her care and communication. She’s always our first choice when booking a sitter.
Kaitlyn is always the best. Such a massive help!
Kaitlyn consistently goes above and beyond to care for our cats. We’ve booked her a few times now and every time we are so thankful. She sends the best pics of them, gives them lots of attention, and cares for our home as we would while we’re away. Highly recommend!

Let me know if your dog has any anxieties, or if they have a high prey drive. When I'm on my first walk with a dog I usually try to avoid any and all passerby, but let me know if your dog is scared of big dogs, wants to roughhouse impolitely with small dogs, or is excited by small children.
A typical day
You can expect to get a lot of pictures and daily updates when I'm housesitting and caring for your pet. I love to keep in contact and keep pet owners in the loop on how their fur child is doing, because I know that's what I'd want! Sometimes I get creative and make photo collages of their days, or if I get inspired I may pull out my professional camera and have a portrait session with your pet. You might come home to a new portrait on the mantle! I'll get to know your pet's personality and will let them tell me how they'd like to interact. Some animals are more solitary, some like to be glued to a human's hip. In either case, I'll love them just as much! I like to follow a dog's lead on what they want out of their walk! With your hound dog, we'll stop and sniff all the smells. With your lazy bully breed, we'll trot along at a leisurely pace and say hi to all the friendly neighborhood pups along the way. With your high energy shepard, I'll lace up my running shoes for a healthy jog around the park. In any case, I'm prepared to use harnesses, training collars, muzzles, prong collars, etc. I can handle dogs at any level of leash training and will work with them to become a better walker. I may not look that tough, but I've learned how to plant my feet in the ground and keep steady when a 600 lb horse is trying to take off with the lead after seeing a plastic trash bag float by, so I know that I can handle your 100 lb retriever when we see a cat dart into an alley.
