Pet care experience
Like most people on this app, I love animals and have been pet sitting for years. What sets me apart though is my genuine enjoyment of the long walks and play time. I have experience with dogs of all temperaments and know how important is to respect your animal's needs and boundaries. I am an avid runner so if you have a dog that loves to run with you, I am happy to include them in my running schedule. If you have multiple pets with drastically different needs, look no further! I regularly pet sit two black labs that have to go on separate walks and I live with three cats who all have to be on different foods. Having clear and preemptive guidelines is the key to ensuring sitter, owner, and pet have a good experience so I am happy to sit down and discuss everything with you prior. Lastly, I do have experience giving oral and topical medications and experience with senior dogs and pets recovery from surgery. OVERNIGHT SERVICES NOTE: My current rate is $75 - this includes 2 walks (AM and PM for 30 minutes) plus $25 for spending the night in your home :)

Kaitlyn is not only a huge animal lover, but a responsible and compassionate person. I have a large pit-mix that is not the easiest dog to care for (not always dog friendly, takes daily oral medication) and I've always felt that Kaitlyn takes amazing care of him while I'm out of town for days at a time. She texts me with updates, photos, or any questions she has about his behavior or wellbeing. And of course, my dog is always excited to see her again. I've also witnessed Kaitlyn foster multiple dogs, including entire puppy litters, and she is always prioritizing their care in a way that I highly admire. I trust Kaitlyn considerably and wholeheartedly recommend her for your pet-sitting needs!
We were traveling out of town and needed someone to house and dogsit our two dogs while we were gone. Our dogs are both very sweet and friendly, but are also active and observant on all the goings-on in the neighborhood. One is 85 pounds and the other is 44 and they need their daily exercise and stimulation. Kaitlyn was excited to help out and stayed at our place while we were gone. Every day she sent pictures and even videos of the runs she's go on with them. She loves playing and snuggling with the dogs, and was a perfect house guest. It's wonderful knowing that we have someone like Kaitlyn who can help out when we travel. I could not recommend her more.

Always depends on the pet and their comfort level. I love running and hiking with dogs. I also love a good dog park if the pup likes to play with friends. If your pet has some favorite activities, I am happy to go on that adventure with them.

Availability
I work full-time but have a flexible schedule so I will be able to fit my schedule to your pet's needs. I am also very organized and will ensure that any possible scheduling changes are discussed prior to starting so that you know exactly when I will be taking care of your pet.
