Pet care experience
I have multiple years of experience with cats, dogs and about one year with guinea pigs; however, I specialize in sick animals. I have two cats, one who is on three medications for kidney disease, irregular heartbeat, and upper respiratory infections. I am very skilled at administering medications to cats and dogs (I grew up w/ a dog with a grass allergy). I can administer gel, liquid, and pill medications. Willing to learn injections by my vet if I find there is a need for it. I take medications extremely seriously and understand how missing one pill can result in severe consequences. Skilled at noticing abnormal behavior and beginning stages of illness in animals.

Most cats can be fed, watered, played with and they’re good until the next day, not our cat. Our cat needed someone to feed her three different times a day with very specific directions. If not done exactly our cat would not eat which would put her in a horrible eating cycle. She also needed lots of attention through out the day. Kaitlyn was amazing! She followed every detail on my long list. She sent me pictures and updates which put my mind at ease. It’s hard to go on vacations with a pet that has so many needs but I knew she was in loving hands. I would totally recommend Kaitlyn and I definitely will be using her services again!
I 100% recommend using Kaitlyn as a pet sitter. I have both a dog and a cat, and have been using her services for going on 2 years. Working long hours can make pet parenting a struggle. I turned to hiring a pet sitter, and won't be turning back! My dog is played with and walked daily. My senior cat receives his daily pills, and loves sitting in her lap. This past spring, I had Kaitlyn pet sit over a weekend. Everyone had a great time, she even sent some pictures.

I mainly like to know his personality. Does he like to play rough or gentle. I need to know if the dog is a good walker or does he need some guidance as we go along. I definitely need to know if the doggo has been vaccinated.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks or jogs if able (upon owner request obviously). I love to play fetch, tug of war (which I never win), and allow the doggo to explore smells and fun small animals in the nearby area. I am a very patient person and for that dogs really like me.

Availability
I am a Senior in college at Western Illinois University, but all of my classes are online, so I have a very open schedule. I am studying business and plan to open a pet sitting business upon graduation. I wake up around 6 am M-F and 8 am Sat-Sun.
