Hiya! I'm an extremely active person who has a huge heart for animals and the companionship they provide. I'm compassionate, patient, gentle, and fun-loving! I have many years of caring for pets, whether it be my own - Max, Lacy, Pickles, Sonny and Serena - the pets of family friends, or the ones that are referred to me! I work at a local hospital here in St Pete, but am happy to work around my work schedule to take care of your most beloved pets (and house, if needed!) I would be overjoyed to help you when you need just a little extra TLC for your animals if you're out of town, at work, or simply just can't find the time in your busy week - a walk, a bath, or just giving your animal some cuddles :) Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I have found over the many years of pet and house sitting that animals feel much more at ease and comfortable in their own homes, so I don’t watch any animals at my own house. (also because my housemate has 2 pups here!) I include them in my day and make the environment safe, active and full of love. I do my best to integrate into their environments and routines.
Information Kaitlyn N. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how a dog interacts with other dogs as well as humans. Any history they've had with aggressive behavior and what to expect as a new person caring for them. And I would also like to know how they are on a leash. I don't have breed preferences as long as the dog is well behaved. Additionally, I want to know of any special needs or medication requirements.
A typical day
My personal favorite is taking dogs on walks around the beautiful neighborhoods and green spaces around St Pete if they’re able. I also love going down to dog parks, or the beach, if you are comfortable with that, and your animals enjoy that. We can play frisbee, run, or play fetch! I’m also an avid hiker and have taken many dogs (with the permission of their owners) on local hikes, although that looks a little different here in florida. Whatever you dog likes the best I'm happy to do :)
