I am a responsible, careful, and loving 31 year old woman. I have a very well behaved blue heeler mix that gets along with all creatures and loves having friends over. I have over 8 years of experience, 5 in Portland, taking care of other people's animals, especially dogs. I prefer to devote my spare time to playing with and caring for dogs. I take people's trust in me to watch their dogs as an honor, responsibilty, and first priority. I'm happy to watch your dog at my house or yours, as well as taking them for long safe walks. I live in the inner east side and know all the good walking routes. I am available Mondays and Tuesdays all day, all other days I'm available after 4.

We love Kaitlyn. She is great with our dog Toby who is absolutely obsessed with her. He has separation anxiety and typically has a hard time warming up to people--he has had no problem whatsoever with Kaitlyn though! She's really nice and clearly cares about Toby. I am completely comfortable leaving him in her care which says a lot because I'm a very harsh judge. Pick-up and drop-off are a breeze with her location (awesome/easy parking), so that's an added bonus! I would absolutely suggest you book with Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn was so great! It's always hard leaving your pup while you're away, let alone having a stranger stay in your home. We met Kaitlyn a few weeks before our travels and felt very at ease with how warm, relaxed and caring she was. Kaitlyn kept in touch throughout our visit with updates and pictures and made us feel comfortable, even 3000 miles away. She also took care of our cat and fish and was thoughtful enough to do laundry before she left - remaking the bed she stayed in - what dog sitter does that?! I would enthusiastically endorse Kaitlyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring companion while you're away.
Taylor had a great stay, she's stayed here before and was happy to see Kaitlyn again. Will rebook again in the future!
Kaitlyn was wonderful, she took great care of my fur baby! She was quick to respond to messages and kept me updated on how my girl was doing and sent pics. Definitely plan on using her in the future
