I’ve had animals my whole life.. from dogs, chickens, ducks, cows, horses, cats, sheep, bearded dragons, geckos and even a corn snake - We have had it all! The services I will be providing are over night/multi night boardings, doggy day care (M-S) I am also available to do drop in visits for clients who travel but don’t want to board their animals. I will travel 20-25 miles for this additional service.

Hi All, I would like to highly recommend Kaitlyn’s Kennel’s. Our dog Bella was treated like a little princess. Daily walks, brushing, lots of attention, and photos! Kaitlyn truly loves what she does. Thanks to Kaitlyn, I enjoyed my vacation knowing Bella was receiving excellent care.
We checked-in our 2 beagles with Kaitlyn for 7 nights. Kaitlyn has very clean kennels and a great yard and farm. She takes in only few babies at a time so that she can give the required attention to all of them. One of our dog had fear agression and Kaitlyn worked with her patiently to win her trust and enjoy the stay. They got plenty of walks and love from Kaitlyn. They are not locked up whole day like in bigger kennels in the city. We loved that they got the exercise and the attention. We got prompt updates and lots of pictures and videos twice a day. When we are traveling we are always thinking of our dogs. The updates helped us enjoy our travel more as we knew that the puppies were in good hands and they were having a very good time as well. I made an extra request to check for ticks as it was summer. Kaitlyn honored my request and thoroughly checked for ticks everyday. We are so glad to have found such a great place to check-in our puppies while we are away. We highly recommend this place for your fur babies.
We have two Australian Cattle Dogs who require A LOT of exercise….they came home tired 🙂. It was quite obvious that Kaitlyn spent a good deal of time exercising them. Kaitlyn did an excellent job communicating updates and sending pictures while we were away; she was also accommodating to last minute changes to our travel times. Very clean accommodations. Already have next visit booked.
Kayte was absolutely phenomenal to work with and I can’t think of any other person I’d trust with my cats with for so long. While in between moves we had to board our cats for several weeks and she provided an absolutely wonderful and comfortable environment for them, sent multiple daily updates and absolutely loved and treated them as her own. She even bought a cat tower for them to have which my cats LOVED! They had plenty of room and time to roam and lots of interaction and affection. Her communication from day one was always incredible, her pricing was extremely reasonable, and I can’t think of a single con in this entire experience. 100%, 10 out of 10, recommend!!!

We live on a big farm with so much room to roam and play! Our dog Sam absolutely loves it here, I know your fur baby would too! The yard however is not fenced in.. l would be taking them out on their leash for play time & potty breaks every hour and when it’s down time they will be comfortable in their heated and cooled indoor, sanitized kennels. They will also have the option to rest in their outdoor kennels for some sun bathing, doggy doors are installed in these kennels. They will have food, water, a bed, toys and so much love! Please feel free to email with any questions or concerns😊 *Toys will be provided as well but if your pet has a special toy/blanket please bring it along for extra comfort❤️ *Photos and updates of your pet will be given each day if requested. *A copy of rabies immunization for each pet is required. *All clients are held responsible to cover the cost of any damage that their pet creates. For example, if they are chewers or damaging to their shelter in any way. *My address states Louisa but I am located right in the middle of Louisa and Fluvanna so am able to travel between the two. I would like to know everything about your pet.. If they are on any kinds of medication or if they have any allergies that you know of. As for female dogs I would like to be aware if they are in heat at the time of boarding (if so, it’s no problem) I would also like to know if they are ever aggressive or have ever had a history of being aggressive towards other animals or people. A meet in greet is highly recommend before any bookings are scheduled.
A typical day
We have over 14 acres here at our farm so there is plenty space to run and play. I like for the animals to have as much exercise as possible so our goal for each day is to be outside as much as we can be!

Caring for animals is what I love to do and having a flexible schedule gives me the option to do so. I am home Monday-Sunday. I would love to expand our free range farm with some new, exciting and happy faces! This will be your pets home away from home!❤️
