**If I do not respond right away, it’s because I’m with another client or in a lesson. I respond to every message I receive, so please be patient. While I've been surrounded by animals (pets and farm animals) my whole life, it was when I rescued my first cat ten years ago that I realized how much I love working with animals. Now, I've cared for over 30 cats and my beautiful Great Dane. Additionally, I've worked with many dogs, helping them with reactivity, socialization, and learning proper leash etiquette. For nearly a decade, I lived abroad throughout Asia, where I was always in contact with all kinds of animals. After I recused my Dane in Sri Lanka, I became involved in dog training and was part of a community group that trained and socialized dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I have particular experience handling reactive and aggressive dogs, but I can care for any dog (or cat) that needs it. My particular experience with dogs is leash training and reactivity. If your dog is struggling with both (or either) and you would like me to incorporate training techniques into our walks, please let me know, and I would be happy to discuss my methods further. I wholeheartedly believe that the walk should be the most joyous part of the day for you and your dog. **Importantly** I do not and will not use an e-collar. If you don't want to try other training tools, then I will not be the walker/trainer for you.
