**Stepping away from caring for pups starting March 29th, 2026 for maternity leave** Hi! I’m Kaitlyn — a stay-at-home mom, lifelong dog lover, and volunteer at the Humane Society for Hamilton County. At home, our 11-year-old son and our Frenchie girl, Luna, absolutely hung the moon! We’re total dog people, and I know how important it is to find someone who will love and care for your pup the same way you do when you can’t be there. That’s exactly why I joined Rover — to offer kind, dependable care whether I’m dropping by for a quick check-in, heading out for a walk, or welcoming your pup into our home for a longer stay. We’re a cozy, cage-free home and only care for one pet family at a time, so your dog’s comfort and safety are always the top priority. With my background and weekly volunteer experience, I’m confident caring for pups with all kinds of needs, personalities, and quirks. I’d love to be your fur baby’s safe, loving home away from home or a reliable, friendly face for drop-ins and walks ☺️

Love Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn is great! Used her before & will again! She not only treated our dog like her own, but she took care of our home too! When our locks didn’t work, she worked so hard to get to our pup! She is the best!!

Dogs love Kaitlyn!!

Kaitlyn watched our dog Stella for 8 days over Christmas and we felt completely at ease the entire time we were away. She sent us multiple updates each day and truly treated Stella like a member of the family. She went above and beyond by setting up a Christmas stocking for her and giving her Christmas gifts. We felt very happy that she was in good hands while we were gone.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I’m super flexible! I have several pups I walk weekly around lunch time so I occasionally have to limit my availability for daycare and boarding. If I need to step out while your pup is in my care, they will never be left for more than an hour — and they often join for car rides to my son’s practices in the evenings if they enjoy it! Our home is peaceful, and my son is respectful and calm around animals — even pups sensitive to kids usually feel right at home ☺️

Safety, trust & environment
When possible, I prefer to schedule a meet & greet in advance (especially for pups who take a little time to warm up), so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. But if you’re booking a last-minute walk or drop-in, no worries! Just send over the key info, and I’ll take it from there with on-time care, communication, and plenty of photo updates. Caring for one pet family at a time means your dog gets my full attention without the stress of unfamiliar pets. My pup Luna (a sweet, playful Frenchie) is great with other dogs, and all introductions are done slowly and safely with her on leash to ensure everyone feels comfortable.

A typical day
Every day is built around what your dog enjoys most — whether that’s playtime, couch cuddles, or getting outside for a walk. For drop-in visits, I’ll check food and water, provide a potty break, and give them some play time before I go. For walks, we will check out all the smells in the neighborhood keeping a mindful distance from other dogs we might encounter along the way. I walk at your dog’s pace and style, whether they need a slow sniff or a fast-paced stroll. I’m happy to reinforce basic commands, avoid triggers, or just let them enjoy the sunshine! For dogs in daycare or boarding, the day includes tons of play time, walks, and potty breaks. If your dog enjoys enrichment and car rides, I’m happy to include approved trips to places like a quiet park or Petco. Of course, that’s only if it’s the right fit for your pup — some dogs prefer to stay home and chill, and that’s perfectly fine too!
