Hi, my names Kaitie. I have a 10 year old cat and a 3 year old woofers with hip dysplasia, im very family and senstivie to animals with special needs or considerations. I've dog sat in my own home and at the dog's home, dog walked, and doggy day visits for over 10 years now. I previously worked at a vet for 2 years as a veterinarian and kennel assistant and have used a lot of that knowledge to stay attuned and care for all my personal fur babies as well as my step fur babies. I am really anal about contacting parents with immediate concerns or notification of incidents as well as providing end of day reports.

Kaitlyn did a great job with both of my dogs! They became very comfortable with her very quickly, which was wonderful considering our younger male puppy is fairly skittish. She always walked them for at least 30min or more, which was a wonderful break for them during their day at home while mom and dad were working. She handled them very well, and even worked on some training with them! Highly recommend and will definitely use again :)
Kaitlyn has been a great dog sitter for our dog Max. She was dependable and trust worthy and Max is always excited to see her! It is obvious that she loves him like he is her own!
If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy, responsible, and will love your furry family like you do, look no further than Kaitie. We first met Kaitie when she was our neighbor in Woodbridge before going off to college. We don’t like the idea of boarding our 80 pound golden retriever Jojo, and even so it can be SO EXPENSIVE. You never know how much attention they will get, and being cooped up all day doesn’t fit for us. We met Kaitie through a neighbor and she instantly became like family! She stayed in our home and cared for Jojo (and our UPS deliveries!) just like it was her own. My wife and I would recommend Kaitie to anyone looking for a dog caregiver - she’s awesome!

My home is very neat and clean, I'm meticulous about keeping food and other hazards for both my cat and dog out of reach. I have multiple dog beds and cat scratchers, lots of cat and dog toys, i also keep areas for my cat to escape away from the woofers. I'm very meticulous about ensuring the family's I work work for recieve the same care of their home. I will always leave the house as they left it, and ensure any messes are cleaned up before I leave.

Before dog sitting i need to know theyre dog and cat are friendly and house trained, unless of course theyre a puppy, then ill just need to know their potty schedule! I will also need to know of any routines, specific commands, hiding spots (mostly for cats), and any other obedience/routine preferences the family may have.
A typical day
Walks are usually around the dogs neighborhood or specified paths by the parents. I also love playing fetch, tugawar, laser pointers, etc. at the pets home or any nearby parks.

I work from home with flexible hours and attend class for a masters program Wed nights, so my availability is fairly flexible excluding Wednesday nights after 530
