Pet care experience
I started dog sitting in high school. Back then I worked for a lovely traveling sales woman and regularly watched her house and her Boston terrier, Riley, when she was gone. Then, post- college I worked as a personal assistant for a woman with two German Shepard’s with a lot of energy! I helped ensure they got daily exercise and enriching activities to keep their minds occupied. Since working with Rover I've gained experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs. I love all dogs, big and small, and I’d love to help you care for yours! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate your dog's needs. I'm local to Sacramento but willing to travel :) The income I get from Rover helps me climb my way out of student loan debt. Thank you for considering me!

Kaitlyn was very easy to work with in setting up in-home pet sitting for my dog and cat. She came out for a meet and greet and we talked about my pets' routines and idiosyncrasies and she came back to pick up the key and get more details about my plans. She communicated updates to me when she arrived, letting me know everybody was okay and sharing photos. I originally booked her to care for my fur babies for 15 days but the trip did not go well and I had to return early. Kaitlyn was fine with it and accommodated the schedule change easily. It was a stressful trip but I was never worried about my dog and cat because I knew Kaitlyn was taking care of them. Thanks Kaitlyn!
Kaitlyn took care of our 2 dogs (and house) for almost a week, what distinguished Kaitlyn was her ability to connect with our dogs, one of which is slow to warm up to new people; Kaitlyn was very patient, professional and a good communicator at all times. She is also very responsible and I felt at ease while I was away... and our dogs seemed to have had a lot of fun! Definitely would rebook her services.

I work a flexible salaried job from home. My hours are eight to five, but there is a ton of wiggle room within that. If I can't meet your needs for any reason I will communicate that.
