I am specifically looking for individuals who have active dog breeds that are in need of their dog being taken on runs. I do not train dogs to run, I am simply here to provide your pup with the exercise that they need. I have previous experience with running with dogs. I have a strong passion for running and absolutely love taking your fur babies out on these adventures and seeing the joy it brings them. Typically during the week I can take them on short/moderate runs, and when I am not out of town for races I can take them on long runs during the weekend. I do love all animals and I'm willing to do walks and house sit as well! I have 10 years of experience with dogs outside of the dog running world.

Depending on the dog I may require they be trained to wear booties if we are going on a trail run as I do not want their paw pads being injured (but this is not a requirement). But I always make sure to have enough water supply for the dogs, shade when necessary, and if it's a high caloric burning dog any food that will be needed to fuel the dog during our activity. If your dog is not off leash trained I make sure they are leashed during the run and I do not let the dogs mingle or go near other dogs during the run unless told otherwise by the owner.

I need to know what experience your dog has running. What is the max distance they have gone. What is a comfortable distance for your dog. What is a good distance that is needed for your dog to get its needed exercise for the day.
A typical day
I enjoy the Jordan river, but there are many times where I hit gravel trails and peaks. Your pup is guaranteed to come home satisfied and the goal is exhuasted! If watching your dog and they are not reactive to other dogs I love bringing them to the dog playland that is in Draper, playing fetch, or adventuring outdoors. Or doing whatever activity makes your dog happy. We're just living in their world and they deserve the best!

Availability
I am available evenings during the week and my weekend availability is very sporadic due to my race schedule. I train professionally in the evening for my racing and would be taking your pup along during my runs. If my training doesn't match, then I would go on an additional run that day to get your dog the exercise it needs. If you're looking for a weekend sitter I ask that your dogs are able to be alone for at least 5-7 hour. I do hikes every weekend I am in town so I'd be gone for a hike (if it's a hike that allows dogs and your pup is friendly around other dogs I'd love to bring them with!) but would be with your pup every other waking moment besides the hike!
